The Dragon’s Call by Esther Stenersen

While spelunking with their parents, cousins Jessie and Aaron find themselves in a whole new world. They find themselves in situations beyond themselves, and have to decide what to do. At first, they do not make great decisions but they find a way to make it work.

The Dragon’s Call is a fun, fast-paced fantasy adventure story. It was written for some children 8 yrs old to 108 yrs old. There are surprises, riddles, and some creatures that do not exist - except for in the imagination.

About Dragons

The dragons in my stories were inspired by the dinosaur fossils with tubelike structures running down the face, which could have contained chemicals that ignited when mixed with the oxygen in the air. When those are combined with the legends and myths many cultures have about dragons, it just made me think how awesome these animals would have been if they could’ve been tamed. And so, the adventure in the land of Guadulope where the dragons are just flying, fire breathing animals - akin to our dinosaurs - was imagined.
